We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 8–10 years relevant HRexperience and strong professional maturity to effectively manage this role, with proven experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional capable of driving policies, performance, and people development in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage payroll administration and maintain accurate HR records.
- Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Partner with management to forecast manpower needs and drive workforce planning.
- Implement HR initiatives that support employee productivity and retention.
- Lead training, development, and capacity-building programs across departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field (HR certification is compulsory).
- 7-8years of relevant HR experience (factory experience is mandatory).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Work Experience:
- Proven experience handling end-to-end recruitment for multiple categories of employees.
- Experience working in manufacturing, agro-allied, or factory environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple categories of employees (casuals, contract, full-time, expatriates).
- Solid understanding of Nigerian Labour Laws, disciplinary procedures, and HR best practices.
- Strong competence in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and maintaining positive employee relations.
- Ability to build trust and foster a healthy work environment
- Hands-on experience with payroll administration, time & attendance, and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Solid understanding of performance management systems and KPI tracking.
- Ability to conduct disciplinary procedures, warning processes, and grievance handling.
- Strong competence in reporting and HR analytics (daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
Salary
