Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a reputable real estate firm. In this role, you will be the architect of our people strategy, ensuring that our talent management practices align with our ambitious business growth goals. You will oversee the entire employee lifecycle—from sourcing high-performing sales and project teams to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring rigid compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate brings deep industry-specific experience, a firm grasp of Nigerian labor laws, and the leadership presence to influence at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

1. Strategic HR & Organizational Alignment

  • Strategy Development: Translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies that drive organizational efficiency and profitability.

  • Policy Governance: Develop and implement robust HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to the real estate environment.

  • Culture Stewardship: Foster a positive, high-energy workplace culture that drives employee engagement and brand loyalty.

2. Talent Acquisition & Performance Management

  • Specialized Recruitment: Lead the recruitment and onboarding of industry-specific talent, including sales executives, site engineers, and project managers.

  • Performance Frameworks: Manage the performance management system, focusing on KPI setting, appraisals, and merit-based rewards that thrive in a real estate setting.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution in line with labor laws.

3. Compliance, Training & HR Operations

  • Labor Compliance: Ensure the firm is 100% compliant with Nigerian labor regulations, industrial standards, and internal ethics.

  • Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and design training programs to enhance the technical and soft skills of the workforce.

  • HR Technology: Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office tools to ensure data-driven reporting and streamlined administrative operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience

  • Tenure: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an HR Manager, specifically within the Real Estate industry.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR policies, and industry best practices.

  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in HR software/HRIS and the Microsoft Office suite.

Core Competencies

  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to solve complex human capital challenges with a focus on business outcomes.
