Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Finance & Admin Officer to serve as the financial architect of our real estate and investment portfolio. Based in the commercial hub of Victoria Island, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for driving the company’s capital structure, ensuring the feasibility of multi-million Naira developments, and leading investor relations.
This is a "high-stakes" role requiring a professional who can navigate complex debt and equity structures, negotiate joint ventures, and manage the full lifecycle of real estate assets. Requirements:
1. Capital Structuring & Investment Analysis
Project Feasibility: Conduct rigorous ROI and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis for real estate projects, ensuring every acquisition is backed by data-driven market trends.
Capital Raising: Design and execute strategies for raising capital through debt, equity, or structured finance to fuel property development.
Partnership Negotiation: Structure and negotiate complex Joint Venture (JV) agreements and investor partnerships to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
2. Real Estate Asset & Fund Management
Asset Lifecycle: Collaborate with legal and sales teams on the full lifecycle of assets—from land acquisition and financing to pricing strategy and final disposition.
Fund Oversight: Monitor fund utilization and working capital across multiple projects, ensuring that cash flows are optimized for construction milestones.
Valuation & Trends: Oversee property valuations and market analysis to ensure our pricing remains competitive and profitable.
3. Financial Governance & Risk Management
Strategic Reporting: Lead the preparation of executive-level management reports, statutory financial statements, and long-term forecasts.
Compliance & Tax: Ensure 100% adherence to Nigerian tax laws, audit requirements, and financial regulatory standards.
Internal Controls: Implement robust corporate governance practices to mitigate operational and financial risks across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. An MBA or professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial leadership, with a significant background in Real Estate Finance or Capital Markets.
Expertise: Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and negotiating high-value funding deals.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Mastery: Ability to engage with HNWIs, institutional investors, and banks to secure favorable financing terms.
Analytical Depth: Mastery of investment appraisal techniques (IRR, NPV, Payback Period).
