Job Description:
1. Revenue Generation & Market Conquest
New Business Development: Actively prospect, negotiate, and close new industrial customers and large-scale distributors.
Aggressive Conversion: Follow up relentlessly on leads until they are converted into paying accounts.
Target Mastery: Consistently meet and exceed aggressive monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Channel Expansion: Drive sales through both direct corporate channels and indirect distributor networks.
2. Strategic Account Management
Relationship Growth: Manage existing accounts to ensure high retention and grow the "wallet share" through repeat sales.
Negotiation: Navigate pricing, payment terms, and contracts within company policy to ensure maximum profitability.
Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging opportunities and stay two steps ahead of the competition.
3. Performance Reporting
Data-Driven Sales: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for senior management.
Professional Representation: Act as a high-level ambassador for our brand in the marketplace.
Requirements:
Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate past achievements, including:
Revenue Growth: Specific figures showing year-on-year growth.
Volume Targets: Evidence of exceeding assigned tonnage or unit quotas.
Account Acquisition: Examples of major B2B accounts or distributors successfully onboarded.
Market Expansion: Documented results of entering and capturing new territories.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Education: OND, HND, or BSc in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of hardcore sales experience in FMCG, agro-processing, manufacturing, or industrial products.
Evidence of Success: A proven track record of exceptional sales performance (evidence of past revenue figures and volume targets hit is mandatory).
Technical & Professional Skills
Closing Mastery: Expert-level skills in negotiation, persuasion, and "closing the deal."
Field Readiness: High energy, high discipline, and a willingness to travel extensively for field-based sales.
Sector Advantage: Experience selling animal feed, starch, industrial raw materials, or agro-products is a major advantage.
Network: Possession of an existing customer or distributor network is highly preferred.
