Job Description:
Regional Strategic Leadership: Drive the 100% achievement of monthly regional sales targets by aligning field activities with the company’s broader commercial strategy.
High-Performance Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and coach the field team. Conduct frequent field accompaniments and structured coaching sessions to close capability gaps and ensure execution consistency.
Distributor Partnership Management: Build and sustain high-value relationships with Key Distributors (KDs). Ensure optimal stock levels, smooth logistics, and prompt resolution of any operational bottlenecks.
Market Execution Excellence: Oversee retail execution across the territory. Ensure strict compliance with product availability, shelf visibility (Planograms), pricing strategy, and credit reconciliation policies.
Data-Driven Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate regional metrics, providing constructive feedback and implementing rapid corrective actions to address performance variances.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare executive-level weekly and monthly reports detailing sales performance, competitive intelligence, market trends, and specific growth opportunities.
Crisis & Issue Resolution: Proactively manage escalations and operational hurdles, ensuring a 48-hour resolution window to maintain business continuity.
Requirements:
Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate market data into actionable sales strategies.
Stakeholder Management: Navigating relationships between internal teams and external distributors.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting and public speaking.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 4–6 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity within the FMCG industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing field teams and driving performance through coaching and influence.
Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to manage distributor relationships and analyze complex market data.
Mobility: Strong willingness to work in the field and travel extensively within the assigned region.
