Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Sales / Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in Lagos. In this role, you are the primary engine of our commercial success. We are not looking for someone to just "manage" a desk; we are looking for a strategic closer who can identify untapped market opportunities, build high-value corporate relationships, and convert them into long-term revenue.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of proven experience with a portfolio of measurable achievements. Whether you are coming from a marketing or a direct sales background, your primary focus will be the aggressive expansion of our market share and the continuous optimization of our sales funnel.
Requirements:
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Lead Engineering: Identify and qualify high-potential leads through strategic networking, cold outreach, and market research.
Partnership Management: Build and nurture deep-rooted relationships with corporate stakeholders and decision-makers.
Commercial Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end negotiation process, ensuring win-win outcomes and high-margin contract closures.
2. Marketing Strategy & Brand Visibility
Campaign Execution: Develop and implement localized marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and drive inbound inquiries.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing to ensure our value proposition remains the strongest in the sector.
Event Representation: Serve as the face of the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events in Lagos.
3. Performance & Pipeline Governance
Pipeline Visibility: Maintain a robust and transparent sales pipeline, ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting.
Measurable Results: Focus on key metrics such as Conversion Rates, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that promises made during the sales process are delivered with operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 2–3 years of active experience as a Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, or Business Development Manager.
Track Record: Must provide evidence of measurable achievements (e.g., "Increased revenue by X%", "Closed X number of corporate accounts").
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
