Job Description:
CSB is seeking a strategic and high-velocity Marketing Manager to anchor our growth in the short-term rental (STR) ecosystem. In a marketplace dominated by global giants, your mission is to carve out CSB’s unique value proposition, accelerating both Supply (Host Acquisition) and Demand (Guest Bookings).
You are not just a digital marketer; you are a Marketplace Architect. You understand that a platform is only as strong as its liquidity. You will be responsible for scaling user acquisition with a "growth-hacking" mindset, optimizing the funnel from the first click to the final checkout. If you have 4+ years of experience disrupting the hospitality tech space and a proven track record of scaling two-sided platforms, we want you to lead our charge.
Requirements:
1. Supply-Side Mastery (Host Acquisition & Success)
Listing Growth: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to attract high-quality property listings, from individual hosts to professional property management companies.
Onboarding Optimization: Coordinate email and content marketing to streamline the host onboarding journey, ensuring new listings are "booking-ready" instantly.
Success Storytelling: Create compelling case studies and testimonials that demonstrate the ROI of hosting on CSB compared to legacy platforms like Airbnb.
2. Demand-Side Acceleration (Guest Acquisition & Retention)
Performance Marketing: Manage high-intent paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) with a ruthless focus on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
Content & SEO: Drive organic guest traffic through hospitality-focused content marketing and rigorous SEO strategies that capture "shortlet" and "vacation rental" searches.
Retention & Loyalty: Implement referral programs and re-engagement campaigns to turn one-time guests into loyal CSB advocates.
3. Marketplace Intelligence & Analytics
Liquidity Metrics: Analyze key marketplace KPIs, including Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), Take Rate, Booking Frequency, and Host Retention.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Continuously test and refine the platform’s landing pages and booking flows to reduce friction and maximize "Instant Book" conversions.
Competitor Intelligence: Monitor the STR landscape (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for CSB to differentiate.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 4+ years of marketing leadership in Marketplace platforms, the Shortlet industry, or Hospitality Tech.
Two-Sided Expertise: Deep understanding of the unique dynamics of scaling both Supply and Demand simultaneously.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in marketing automation (HubSpot/Mailchimp), Analytics (GA4/Mixpanel), and performance ad managers.
Core Competencies
Growth Hacking: A track record of using viral marketing and referral loops to scale user bases organically.
Analytical Rigor: Ability to interpret complex data sets to optimize spend and predict market shifts.
