Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy Recruitment Officer to serve as the gateway for talent into our organization. In this role, you aren't just filling seats; you are building the human engine of our business. You will lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from identifying staffing gaps to successfully onboarding new hires. If you have a "hunter" mindset for sourcing, a sharp eye for culture-fit, and the ability to manage high-volume hiring in a fast-paced retail or corporate environment, we want to see your track record.
Requirements:
1. End-to-End Lifecycle Management
Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify top-tier talent using job boards, LinkedIn, niche social media groups, and internal referral networks.
Rigorous Screening: Master the art of the initial interview, ensuring only the most qualified and culturally aligned candidates move forward to assessments.
Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to department heads, helping them define role requirements and streamline the selection process.
2. Retail-Focused Talent Strategy
Volume Recruitment: (Where applicable) Manage the unique demands of retail hiring, ensuring pipelines for front-line and management staff remain consistently full.
Employer Branding: Support campaigns that position the company as an "Employer of Choice," leveraging social media and careers pages to attract passive talent.
Candidate Experience: Ensure every applicant, whether successful or not, has a professional and positive experience with our brand.
3. Governance & Reporting
Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure audit-ready documentation.
Policy Compliance: Ensure all hiring activities align with internal recruitment policies and national labor regulations.
Performance Metrics: Track and report on key recruitment KPIs like "Time-to-Fill," "Cost-per-Hire," and "Source Quality."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Background
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Core Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition.
Sector Advantage: Previous experience in the Retail industry is highly preferred.
Software: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and MS Office Suite.
Core Competencies
Interviewing Mastery: Expert-level ability to conduct competency-based and behavioral interviews.
Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage expectations of busy hiring managers.
