Job Description:

We are seeking a disciplined and result-oriented Procurement Coordinator to manage our end-to-end sourcing activities. This mid-level role is critical for ensuring that our organization acquires goods and services in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. You will act as the primary bridge between internal departments and our supplier network, balancing operational urgency with strict adherence to budget and ethical standards. Requirements:

1. End-to-End Procurement Operations

  • Sourcing & Selection: Execute the full procurement cycle, from sourcing reputable suppliers and evaluating competitive quotations to finalizing selection based on value and quality.

  • Order Management: Raise purchase orders (POs) and proactively track order status to ensure zero downtime in operations due to delayed deliveries.

  • Requirement Analysis: Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear, technical procurement requests.

2. Supplier Management & Negotiation

  • Vendor Diplomacy: Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring our vendors remain accountable to their commitments.

  • Cost Optimization: Support the organization’s bottom line through rigorous price comparisons and skilled negotiations within approved limits.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust database of approved vendors, ensuring long-term partnerships that offer preferential terms and reliability.

3. Compliance, Tracking & Reporting

  • Audit Readiness: Ensure 100% compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards, maintaining an organized digital and physical trail of all contracts and records.

  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, including turnaround time, supplier lead-time accuracy, and achieved cost savings.

  • ERP Usage: Utilize ERP systems and MS Excel to generate spend summaries and actionable data insights for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven Tenure: Minimum of 4 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.

  • Systems Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).

Core Competencies

  • Negotiation Mastery: Proven ability to influence supplier terms and secure cost-effective deals.

  • Analytical Thinking: Sharp attention to detail with the ability to analyze spend patterns and identify savings.

  • Resource Planning: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple high-priority procurement requests independently.
