Job Description:

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Supplier Network Development: Identify, vet, and onboard reliable vendors and sub-contractors that meet company standards for quality and financial stability.

• Relationship Management: Maintain professional, long-term partnerships with key suppliers to ensure priority service and favorable credit terms.

• Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular vendor audits to ensure compliance with delivery timelines, material specifications, and contractual obligations.

Negotiation & Contract Management

• Cost Optimization: Lead aggressive negotiations on pricing and payment terms to drive cost savings without compromising on quality.

• Agreement Oversight: Draft and review vendor agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure full alignment with company legal and financial standards.

Procurement Operations & Logistics

• Documentation Lifecycle: Manage the full documentation process, including Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and requisitions.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and the Finance Team to synchronize delivery schedules with construction milestones.

• Inventory Control: Monitor on-site and warehouse inventory levels to trigger timely replenishments and avoid costly stock-outs or over-stocking.

Compliance & Data Integrity

• Policy Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls, health and safety (HSE) standards, and national regulatory requirements.

• Reporting: Maintain an accurate, digital database of vendor pricing, historical spend, and procurement logs for management review.

Requirements:

• Integrity: High ethical standards to manage vendor relationships transparently.

• Negotiation: Ability to secure "Value for Money" (VfM) in a fluctuating market.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex bids and technical specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supply, Engineering, or Business Administration.

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the Construction, Real Estate, or Oil & Gas sectors.

• Technical Skills: * Mastery of MS Excel (for price comparison and budget tracking).

  • Experience with ERP or Procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).

• Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., CIPS or CIPSM) is a significant advantage
