Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and technically-minded Shop Executive to lead the operations of our North Central service center. In this role, you will be the custodian of both our inventory and our customer experience. You will manage the full lifecycle of Sun King products—from receiving warehouse stock to performing basic technical repairs on in-warranty returns. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can balance the administrative rigor of daily stock reporting with the "hands-on" technical ability required to diagnose and resolve product issues for our walk-in customers and Energy Officers.
Requirements:
1. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Stock Governance: Receive, track, and manage inventory from the warehouse, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) standards.
Accuracy & Auditing: Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical stock-takes. Maintain an updated online Goods Received (GR) and Goods Issued (GI) log.
Reverse Logistics: Receive faulty units from the field, verify warranty eligibility through technical checks, and consolidate items for disposal or spare parts recovery.
2. Technical Repairs & Spare Parts
Diagnostic Excellence: Identify technical issues in faulty components and perform basic repairs on units covered under warranty.
Workbench Safety: Take custody of specialized repair toolkits and maintain a tidy, hazard-free repair workbench in line with safety protocols.
Parts Procurement: Manage the inventory of spare parts and proactively initiate re-orders to ensure zero downtime for customer repairs.
3. Shop Operations & Customer Support
Merchandising: Maintain a professional and tidy shop floor, ensuring the arrangement follows the specific SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) layout guidelines.
Customer Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, providing product information and resolving queries in coordination with the Call Center.
Team Synergy: Support Energy Officers in the field by providing timely stock replacements and replenishment details.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
Proven Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a service center or technical retail environment.
Technical Knowledge: Broad understanding of Sun King products and solar energy components.
Core Competencies
Analytical Thinking: Strong logical problem-solving skills, particularly in technical troubleshooting.
Digital Literacy: Working proficiency in MS Excel (for reporting) and MS Word.
Integrity: High level of transparency, especially regarding inventory and warranty verification.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
