Job Description:

 Kursi Group is seeking a high-caliber Warehouse Manager to oversee the complete logistical heartbeat of our Bode Saadu mining site. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end integrity of inventory—from heavy machinery spare parts to critical mining consumables. You will lead a dedicated team in a high-intensity industrial environment, ensuring that mining operations never stall due to material shortages. Your mission is to implement world-class inventory principles (FIFO/FEFO), enforce rigorous safety standards, and optimize storage layouts for maximum efficiency. Requirements:

1. Industrial Inventory & Material Control

• Stock Accuracy: Maintain meticulous records for all mining materials, spare parts, and consumables using ERP systems.

• Audit Discipline: Lead monthly physical stock counts and conduct unannounced spot checks to ensure zero variance between system records and physical stock.

• Lifecycle Management: Rigorously implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry, First-Out) principles, specifically monitoring slow-moving or critical-path items to prevent operational downtime.

2. Operational Optimization & Safety

• Workflow Design: Optimize warehouse layouts and storage systems to minimize handling time and maximize space utilization in a rugged mining environment.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce 100% compliance with mining site safety regulations (HSE). Conduct daily inspections to identify and mitigate risks such as improper stacking, fire hazards, or unsafe equipment handling.

• SOP Development: Design and implement site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to the unique challenges of the Bode Saadu site.

3. Leadership & Strategic Reporting

• Team Command: Supervise and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and identifying skills gaps for targeted training.

• Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate daily with the mining, maintenance, and logistics teams to synchronize material supply with production schedules.

• Analytical Reporting: Analyze daily stock movements and provide actionable insights to Site Management regarding utilization rates and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven Tenure: 4–6 years of progressive experience in warehouse or inventory management.

• Preferred Sectors: Direct experience in Mining, Heavy Equipment, or Oil & Gas industrial operations is highly desired.

Core Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of warehouse management principles and proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and MS Office.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams in high-pressure, industrial settings.

• Resilience: Comfortable working in an industrial mining environment involving rugged terrain and exposure to heavy machinery.
