Job Description:

1. Inventory Control & Management

• Stock Monitoring: Actively monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking; initiate orders for new items as needed.

• Database Accuracy: Maintain real-time records of stock movements using Microsoft Excel and specialized inventory management systems.

• Auditing: Conduct regular physical stock counts (stock-taking) and reconcile them with digital records to ensure zero discrepancies.

2. Order Fulfillment & Distribution

• Order Preparation: Accurately pick, pack, and complete orders for delivery to the sales team or for customer pickup according to the daily schedule.

• Product Processing: Receive and process incoming shipments, including unloading, labeling according to SKU, and organized storage.

• Logistics Support: Oversee basic distribution activities to ensure the right products reach the right departments on time.

3. Facility & Operational Maintenance

• Organization: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and optimized for space utilization.

• Safety & Standards: Maintain products according to storage requirements (e.g., temperature control or fragile handling) to prevent damage.

• Team Collaboration: Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to improve warehouse workflows.

Requirements:

• Integrity: A high level of honesty and transparency in managing high-value stock.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of a warehouse, including unloading and moving products.

• Organization: Superior time management and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualification: OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Store Keeper, specifically within the retail industry or a related fast-paced environment.

• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking sheets, basic formulas) and experience with inventory databases or ERP systems.

• Operational Knowledge: Solid understanding of supply chain, stock-keeping units (SKUs), and warehouse safety procedures.
