Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Network Engineer to bridge the gap between our physical data centers and our multi-cloud footprint (AWS, GCP, Azure). In a world where business-critical operations rely on seamless connectivity, your mission is to design and maintain a "zero-downtime" hybrid network.

This is a Tier-3 engineering role requiring deep expertise in both traditional protocols (BGP, OSPF) and cloud-native services (Transit Gateways, Direct Connect). You won't just be managing hardware; you will be an automation specialist using Terraform and Ansible to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective networks. If you are a problem-solver who can navigate complex packet loss issues as easily as you can write Python scripts, we want you to drive our infrastructure forward.

Requirements:

1. Hybrid Architecture & Cloud Connectivity

• Unified Design: Design and deploy architectures that seamlessly integrate on-prem data centers with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Cloud Routing: Manage advanced cloud components including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and Cloud VPNs.

• Protocol Mastery: Configure and optimize core networking protocols—BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and MPLS—to ensure high-performance data flow.

2. Security & Traffic Management

• Edge Security: Implement and manage firewalls, secure proxies, and Cloud VPNs to protect data in transit.

• Load Balancing: Deploy and tune on-prem and cloud load balancers (e.g., AWS ELB, GCP Load Balancer) to ensure application availability and traffic distribution.

• Compliance Stewardship: Ensure all network configurations meet rigorous global standards, including ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.

3. Automation, Monitoring & Performance

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate repetitive network tasks and provisioning using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.

• Tier-3 Troubleshooting: Act as the final escalation point for complex incidents, utilizing tools like CloudWatch, SolarWinds, or Nagios to identify root causes.

• Cost Optimization: Monitor network metrics—latency, throughput, and packet loss—to drive a 10–15% annual reduction in network-related costs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Strong hands-on experience in enterprise-grade networking across both on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

• Technical Stack: Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPsec, and VLANs.

• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in managing VPCs, Firewalls, and NAT Gateways in AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Automation: Practical experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
