Job Description:
As the Manager – Service Transition, you will serve as the governance authority for the end-to-end Service Transition function within MTNN IT. Your mission is to ensure that all IT services transition from development to production in a structured, risk-managed manner. You are accountable for the maturity of Change, Release, and IT Asset & Configuration Management (ITAM) processes, ultimately enabling MTNN to achieve its digital transformation goals through service reliability and compliance.
Requirements:
Process Governance: Define and implement a Service Transition framework aligned with ITIL v4 and ISO 20000 standards. You will own the policies and procedures that dictate how changes are managed and releases are deployed.
Change Management Leadership: Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB). You will be responsible for the rigor of the change process—from impact assessment and risk evaluation to implementation coordination and post-implementation reviews.
Release Management: Govern all IT service releases, establishing release calendars and readiness criteria to ensure that deployments are low-risk, well-communicated, and tested.
CMDB & ITAM Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and oversee the full IT asset lifecycle. You will conduct regular audits to ensure configuration baselines are current.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and lead "lessons-learned" reviews for any failed changes or release-related incidents to drive process maturity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with SRE, Network, Infrastructure, and Application teams to embed transition requirements early into the project delivery lifecycle, ensuring "operational readiness" before any go-live.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: First Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or an IT-equivalent degree.
Mandatory Certifications:
ITIL v4 Foundation.
ITIL Practitioner: Service Transition OR Release, Control and Validation.
Experience:

5+ years in IT Service Management, including at least 3 years managing Change, Release, or Service Transition in a large-scale enterprise or telecommunications environment.
3+ years in a supervisory or people management role, with specific experience in ITAM/CMDB governance.
Preferred Advantages: ISO 20000 certification, Project Management certification, and exposure to Agile/DevOps delivery models.
