We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Officer to support our technology operations, ensure system reliability, and provide technical assistance across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solution-oriented, and able to manage both hardware and software issues while contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Support and maintain company networks, internet connectivity, and servers.
  • Assist in system upgrades, backups, and regular maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure IT security protocols are followed, including antivirus management and user access control.
  • Manage IT inventory and keep accurate records of devices and licenses.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or service providers when needed.
  • Support the implementation of new systems or applications.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer-service mindset.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

  • Experience with IT security tools and best practices.
  • Knowledge of server administration or basic database management.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
