Job Description:

• The Inventory / Store Manager is the custodian of the company’s physical assets.
• You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our imported clothing collections, ensuring accurate record-keeping, optimized storage solutions, and a seamless flow of merchandise from the point of delivery to the sales floor.
• Your goal is to maintain 100% stock accuracy while eliminating losses and shortages.

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics: Receive, inspect, and record all imported clothing collections and store supplies, ensuring that physical counts match shipping manifests and quality standards.
• Data Integrity: Maintain precise and up-to-date inventory records using digital management systems or manual ledgers to ensure real-time visibility of stock.
• Stock Optimization: Actively monitor inventory levels to identify and report low-stock triggers or excess inventory to prevent capital tie-up.
• Warehouse Organization: Strategically organize the store and warehouse layout to ensure proper storage conditions for apparel and streamline the picking and packing process.
• Inventory Analysis: Track and analyze fast-moving vs. slow-moving stock (SKU analysis) to provide management with insights into consumer trends.
• Audit & Reconciliation: Lead regular physical stock counts and reconciliations to identify and investigate any discrepancies between physical and system records.
• Asset Protection: Implement and maintain rigorous security protocols to prevent stock loss, shrinkage, damage, or theft.
• Internal Collaboration: Partner with the sales and retail teams to ensure consistent product availability and seamless replenishment of the sales floor.
• Reporting: Prepare and present concise inventory status reports and valuation summaries for management review.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory, storekeeping, or retail management
• Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems or spreadsheets
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and honesty
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Inventory management
• Organization and time management
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets is an advantage)
• Communication and teamwork.
