Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Human Resource Manager to lead our people operations in Port Harcourt. In a dynamic regional hub, the HR function is the backbone of organizational stability and growth. Your mission is to transform our HR department into a strategic partner by optimizing talent acquisition, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring airtight regulatory compliance.
As the HR lead, you will serve as a bridge between management and employees, managing everything from complex industrial relations to automated payroll systems. If you have 5+ years of managerial experience and a proven track record of implementing robust HR policies in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to lead our workforce strategy.
Requirements:
1. Warehouse & Inventory Governance
Inventory Integrity: Maintain accurate physical and electronic databases through rigorous cycle counts, appraisals, and real-time logging.
Storage Optimization: Organize and allocate storage locations to maximize operational efficiency and pick speed.
Proactive Stock Management: Identify potential shortages early and provide management with actionable stock reports to prevent supply chain breaks.
2. Shipping, Receiving & Fulfillment
Inbound/Outbound Orchestration: Schedule the movement of goods, inspecting all incoming inventory for quality and resolving discrepancies immediately.
Order Precision: Oversee the picking and packing process, ensuring that packaging, labeling, and freight weight dimensions are balanced for safe delivery.
Returns Management: Coordinate customer returns with the same level of documentation and speed as outbound orders.
3. Global Logistics & Stakeholder Coordination
Network Management: Serve as the primary liaison between Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, Customs Agents, and the Sales Team to process customer orders globally.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure every shipment complies with transportation, safety, and international regulatory requirements.
E-commerce Support: Provide content management support for e-commerce platforms, ensuring digital stock levels reflect physical reality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics or warehouse management.
Technical IQ: High proficiency in ERP/WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., CILT, APICS) is a significant advantage.
Core Competencies
Attention to Detail: A "zero-error" mindset regarding documentation and stock counts.
Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex shipping discrepancies and logistics bottlenecks under pressure.
Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse external vendors and internal departments.
