Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile Human Resources Officer to serve as a key driver of our people operations in Abuja. In today’s competitive talent market, HR is more than just "paperwork"—it is about building a high-performance culture and ensuring a seamless employee experience from recruitment to retirement.

Your mission is to execute the core pillars of our HR strategy. You will be responsible for sourcing top-tier talent, ensuring 100% compliance with Nigerian Labor Laws, and fostering a workplace environment where employees thrive. Requirements:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the recruitment lifecycle, from crafting compelling job descriptions to conducting rigorous candidate assessments and interviews.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Design and oversee the induction process, ensuring new hires are properly documented and culturally integrated from Day 1.

2. Performance, Growth & Employee Relations

  • Performance Management: Support the annual appraisal cycle, identifying performance gaps and coordinating capacity-building workshops to bridge them.

  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted point of contact for HR inquiries, handling grievances and disciplinary cases with strict adherence to company policy and ethical standards.

  • Culture Stewardship: Implement engagement initiatives that align workplace behavior with our core corporate values.

3. Compliance, Payroll & HR Admin

  • Regulatory Rigor: Ensure all HR practices align with Nigerian Labor Laws and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Record Integrity: Maintain surgical accuracy in employee files (both physical and digital), managing attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs.

  • Documentation Mastery: Draft professional HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and internal memos, ensuring a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in an HR role.

  • Technical IQ: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).

  • Professional Membership: Membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) is a significant advantage.

Core Competencies

  • Legal Literacy: Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and best practices.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with extreme discretion.
