Job Description:
- The HR & Admin Lead is responsible for managing people operations and administrative systems across multiple restaurant branches.
- The role focuses on recruitment, staff welfare, compliance, attendance discipline, and reducing employee turnover by strengthening performance management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Core HR Functions:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, interviews, selection, onboarding, and confirmations
- Create and enforce staff policies (attendance, discipline, dress code, conduct, etc.)
- Lead employee relations: conflict resolution, warnings, and disciplinary processes
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce staff turnover across branches
- Coordinate staff scheduling support with branch supervisors and operations
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Conduct periodic staff performance evaluations with branch leadership
- Support training plans (customer service, hygiene, SOPs, safety)
Core Admin Functions:
- Oversee office/branch administrative systems and documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
- Handle staff welfare activities (ID cards, uniforms, basic needs coordination)
- Manage HR supplies and admin logistics (forms, stationery, approvals)
Multi-Branch Support:
- Visit branches regularly to audit HR practices, attendance, and discipline
- Support branch managers in addressing staffing gaps quickly
- Track manpower needs and shares monthly HR reports with leadership
Requirements:
- Proven people management and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance in Nigeria
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations/branches
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2 -4 years of HR / Admin experience in a restaurant or hospitality business (multi-branch experience is a plus)
- Certification in HR (CIPM, PHRi) is an advantage
- Experience with HR metrics and analytics
- Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and regulations
- Experience with employee engagement and culture development.
Salary
