Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Hotel Operations Supervisor to serve as the operational anchor of our establishment. In the hospitality industry, excellence is found in the details. Your mission is to synchronize the activities of every department—from the front desk to housekeeping—ensuring that every guest experience is seamless, safe, and of the highest quality.
As a key leader, you will work directly with the General Manager to drive profitability through operational efficiency. You won’t just manage tasks; you will manage a "living ecosystem," ensuring that staff productivity is high and that the hotel’s physical standards are impeccable. Requirements:
1. Multi-Departmental Orchestration
Departmental Synergy: Supervise and coordinate the daily workflows of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B), and Maintenance.
Standard Enforcement: Conduct daily "white-glove" inspections of guest rooms, public lobbies, and back-of-house areas to ensure 100% compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Scheduling & Productivity: Manage staff rosters and attendance, ensuring that the hotel is optimally staffed during peak occupancy periods.
2. Guest Experience & Conflict Resolution
Service Recovery: Act as the primary point of escalation for guest complaints, resolving issues with professional empathy to turn a negative experience into a loyal guest relationship.
Quality Monitoring: Analyze guest feedback and occupancy trends to identify areas for service improvement.
Health & Safety: Ensure the facility adheres to all health, safety, and security regulations to protect guests and staff alike.
3. Performance & Resource Management
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and submit essential operational reports, including occupancy rates, RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) insights, and departmental performance metrics.
Talent Development: Support the recruitment, training, and ongoing mentorship of staff to maintain a consistent high-service culture.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods and high-quality services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: HND / NCE qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of progressive experience in hotel operations or a supervisory role within the service industry.
Core Competencies
Leadership: Ability to motivate diverse teams and promote a culture of collaboration.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to room inspections and facility maintenance.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to make quick, logical decisions during high-pressure situations or emergencies.
