Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-obsessed Head of E-Commerce Sales to serve as the engine of our revenue growth. This is a senior leadership role designed for a "Conversion Architect"—someone who understands that scaling an e-commerce brand requires a perfect blend of psychological persuasion, disciplined follow-up, and operational precision.
Your mission is to lead and transform our sales force into a high-performance machine. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales lifecycle—from refining telesales scripts to optimizing CRM workflows and ensuring seamless delivery coordination. If you have a proven track record of scaling sales teams and the grit to instill a culture of extreme ownership and discipline, we want you to lead our commercial strategy.
Requirements:
1. Sales Engineering & Team Leadership
High-Performance Culture: Lead and mentor the e-commerce sales team (Telesales Agents and support staff), instilling a culture focused on discipline, accountability, and result-orientation.
Framework Optimization: Continuously improve sales scripts, objection-handling frameworks, and upselling/cross-selling strategies to maximize Average Order Value (AOV).
Capability Building: Conduct rigorous training sessions and performance reviews to bridge skill gaps and ensure the team is equipped to close high-value leads.
2. Operational Excellence & CRM Governance
Systematic Follow-ups: Implement and oversee structured follow-up systems for pending confirmations and delivery coordination to minimize order cancellations.
CRM Integrity: Supervise CRM usage to ensure 100% data accuracy in sales tracking and reporting, using these metrics to drive daily decision-making.
SOP Implementation: Identify operational bottlenecks and design/implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that streamline the transition from "Lead" to "Delivered."
3. Strategic Collaboration & Insights
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Marketing (for lead quality), Warehouse (for stock availability), and Logistics (for delivery success) to ensure all departments are aligned with revenue targets.
Market Intelligence: Extract customer insights from sales interactions to provide management with data-backed recommendations for product development and pricing adjustments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in professional sales, with at least 3 years specifically in the E-Commerce sector.
Leadership: A proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing sales teams (minimum 5-10 agents).
Education: HND/BSc/BA in Sales, CRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
Core Competencies
Analytical Prowess: Strong ability to interpret performance metrics and translate them into growth strategies.
Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence, coach, and maintain discipline within a remote or onsite sales team.
Communication: Master of persuasion with excellent verbal and written negotiation skills.
