Job Description:
VisionSpring is seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Communications Lead to architect and execute our global digital presence. You will own the day-to-day lifecycle of our website, social media, and email ecosystems across eight countries (Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zambia). This role is for a data-driven storyteller—someone who can look at a spreadsheet of engagement metrics and translate it into a compelling donor campaign or a heartwarming customer story. You will bridge the gap between our field operations and our global audience, ensuring that our mission of providing radically affordable eyeglasses is communicated with consistency, urgency, and impact.
Requirements:
1. Global Social Media & Community Architecture
Strategic Execution: Develop and manage a global content calendar (LinkedIn, Instagram, FB, YouTube), adapting messaging for donors, partners, and media.
Engagement Engine: Monitor mentions and foster real-time community interaction, turning followers into brand advocates.
Message Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing on captions and visuals to identify high-resonance themes for different audience segments.
2. Multi-Channel Digital Operations
Website Stewardship: Manage CMS updates and optimize user experience (UX) based on behavior data, bounce rates, and conversion paths.
Email Marketing: Lead the design and segmentation of newsletters (Constant Contact/HubSpot), including the bi-weekly "All-Teams" internal culture driver.
Visual Storytelling: Use Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud to produce or brief high-quality templates that maintain VisionSpring’s visual identity.
3. Analytics & Performance Intelligence
Metric Mastery: Track and report on impressions, CTR, and conversion rates, linking digital activity to organizational outcomes like partner acquisition and donor growth.
Insight Reporting: Build monthly dashboards and slide decks to communicate digital performance to the Global Senior Manager and Executive Office.
SEO & Growth: Implement search optimization principles to expand our organic reach and drive traffic to VisionSpring.org.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a writing-intensive field.
Tenure: 5–7 years of relevant experience in digital communications or social media management.
Sector Interest: A deep curiosity about social enterprise models and international development.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in CMS, Google Analytics, Email platforms (MailChimp/HubSpot), and Project Management tools (Asana/Monday.com).
