About Company:
Temploy NG is a unique talent and skill recruitment service. We simplify temporary employment for organisations and busy individuals by matching them with the right people for skilled and semi-skilled work – for periods as short as one day, one week, one month or one year.
Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous Finance Associate to serve as the heartbeat of our financial operations. This role is built for a professional who understands that accuracy in the small details—utility bills, vendor invoices, and ledger entries—is what builds the foundation for sound institutional strategy.
As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our daily transactions. You will transform raw receipts and invoices into actionable monthly reports, ensuring that our ledgers are always balanced and our documentation is permanently "audit-ready." If you are a disciplined accountant with 1–2 years of post-NYSC experience and a mastery of digital accounting tools, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Ledger Integrity & Reconciliation
Real-Time Bookkeeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using approved accounting software, ensuring every naira is accounted for.
Monthly Reconciliation: Lead the monthly bank statement reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies across all ledgers and accounts.
Transaction Management: Oversee the daily flow of financial data, ensuring that income and expenses are categorized accurately within the general ledger.
2. Financial Reporting & Budgetary Support
Reporting Excellence: Generate comprehensive monthly income and expense reports that provide Management with clear visibility into the company's financial health.
Budgetary Assistance: Assist in the preparation of annual and project-specific budgets, providing historical data to ensure accurate forecasting.
Audit Readiness: Maintain a highly organized digital and physical filing system to ensure seamless compliance with internal and external audits.
3. Operational Expense Governance
Expense Tracking: Meticulously document all utility bills, operational costs, and vendor invoices to prevent payment delays or overspending.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and internal executives to facilitate payments based on approved memos and requisitions.
Policy Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities align with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of post-NYSC relevant experience in a formal accounting or finance role.
Technical IQ: Strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
Software & Skills
Digital Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Google Workspace, and modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple financial priorities simultaneously.
