Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and high-energy Cashier to serve as the face of our brand during the most critical part of the customer journey: the checkout. This is a role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands that every transaction is an opportunity to provide world-class service.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for more than just "taking payments." You will be the guardian of the cash drawer, a problem-solver for customer inquiries, and a strategic contributor to our sales goals. If you possess strong basic math skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a genuine passion for helping people, we want you on our front line.

Requirements:

1. Transactional Integrity & Cash Management

• Precision Processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions using our Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Payment Versatility: Confidently handle various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, ensuring security protocols are followed for each.

• Fiscal Accountability: Balance the cash register at the end of every shift and reconcile any discrepancies with clinical accuracy.

2. Customer Experience & Conflict Resolution

• Service Excellence: Provide a professional, courteous, and rapid response to all customers, ensuring they leave with a positive final impression.

• Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints or transaction errors, resolving them promptly and escalating only when necessary.

• Cleanliness Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace to ensure operational efficiency and a professional brand image.

3. Sales Support & Operational Agility

• Product Promotion: Meet sales targets by actively promoting special offers, loyalty programs, or featured products as needed.

• Fast-Paced Efficiency: Maintain a high level of speed and accuracy during peak hours to minimize wait times and improve customer throughput.

• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with floor staff and management to ensure a smooth flow of operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with high potential.

• Technical IQ: Basic math proficiency with a strong focus on accuracy and the ability to learn POS software quickly.

• Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
