Job Description:

We are looking for a vibrant, customer-centric Gelato Server & Store Associate to join our team. In this role, you are more than a server; you are a brand ambassador who creates a "sweet experience" for every guest. You will be responsible for providing expert product recommendations, maintaining a pristine and attractive store environment, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety. Requirements:

1. Customer Experience & Sales

• Exceptional Service: Greet every customer with warmth and energy, ensuring a premium in-store experience.

• Product Expertise: Explain gelato flavor profiles, offer samples, and provide personalized recommendations based on customer tastes.

• Revenue Growth: Actively upsell premium toppings, larger sizes, and additional treats to increase the average transaction value.

• Transaction Support: Process sales efficiently, liaising with the cashier to ensure accurate billing and receipt issuance.

2. Visual Merchandising & Operations

• Aesthetic Presentation: Arrange gelato and related products attractively in display cases to entice customers.

• Inventory Management: Proactively restock gelato bins, cones, cups, and other essential supplies to ensure zero service interruptions.

• Opening/Closing Excellence: Assist with critical daily routines, ensuring the store is "customer-ready" at all times.

3. Hygiene & Safety Compliance

• Sanitation Standards: Maintain the absolute cleanliness of the store, display cases, and serving equipment.

• Food Safety: Strictly follow all food safety, health, and safety regulations to protect our customers and the brand.

• Store Upkeep: Ensure shelves are restocked and common areas are kept spotless throughout the shift.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic: Minimum of HND; maximum of B.Sc. Degree.

• Tenure: 1–2 years of experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role.

• Demographics: This specific role is open to female applicants.

• Residency: Must be a resident of Warri, Delta State.

Core Competencies

• Communication: Friendly, approachable, and fluent in verbal communication.

• Basic Numeracy: Ability to handle basic sales calculations (further training will be provided).

• Learning Mindset: A strong willingness to learn the art of gelato and adapt to high-standard service protocols.
