Job Description:
Are you a digital-savvy closer who loves the intersection of technology and commerce? Our birthday celebration app is expanding its Integrated Giftshop, and we are looking for hungry, entry-level Online Sales Representatives (OSR) to lead our merchant acquisition efforts. In this 100% remote role, you will act as the primary scout and bridge between high-quality gift vendors and our platform. Your mission is to find the best merchants, onboard them onto our app, and ensure they are positioned to succeed. This is a target-driven role for someone who is organized, persuasive, and ready to prove their worth in the fast-paced world of e-commerce.
Requirements:
1. Merchant Sourcing & Acquisition
Prospecting: Identify high-potential gift merchants (florists, bakers, gift curators, etc.) across digital platforms and local markets.
Pitching: Interface with business owners to explain the value proposition of selling on our birthday app.
Conversion: Move merchants from initial interest to active registration and product listing.
2. Partnership Management & Support
Relationship Building: Serve as the main point of contact for merchants, ensuring their product listings are attractive and competitive.
Merchant Success: Guide vendors on how to optimize their store profiles within our giftshop to increase sales.
3. Reporting & Target Delivery
Monthly Milestones: Meet and exceed the mandatory monthly target of delivering to specific groups and onboarding new merchants.
Activity Logs: Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, and successful onboardings in our internal tracking system.
Qualifications and Skills:
Core Competencies
Sales Prowess: Ability to handle objections and close deals with small-to-medium business owners.
Digital Literacy: High proficiency in using online communication tools (WhatsApp, Email, LinkedIn, Social Media) for business outreach.
Self-Discipline: As a 100% remote role, you must be able to manage your time and prove productivity without constant physical supervision.
Communication: Clear, professional, and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
Experience Level
Entry-Level: This is an entry-level position; however, any previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or e-commerce will be highly regarded.
Target-Driven: A proven mindset for hitting numbers and delivering results under pressure.
