Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to lead our digital storytelling efforts. In this role, you will be the voice of our brand across multiple platforms, responsible for crafting engaging copy, producing visual assets, and managing a vibrant social media community. You will work at the intersection of creativity and data—using trending insights to develop a content calendar while monitoring analytics to ensure our message resonates with our target audience. Requirements:
1. Content Creation & Strategy
Creative Production: Write and edit high-impact blog posts, website copy, and social media captions that align with our brand voice.
Visual Storytelling: Create compelling visual content using basic design tools and photography to capture audience attention.
Strategic Planning: Support the development of a cross-platform content strategy and contribute to the execution of a structured content calendar.
2. Social Media Management & Distribution
Channel Ownership: Schedule and publish content across various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) using modern management tools.
Trend Research: Proactively research trending topics and hashtags to ensure our content remains relevant and discoverable.
Community Engagement: Monitor social channels and respond to comments/messages to foster a positive brand-audience relationship.
3. Analytics & Growth
Performance Monitoring: Compile basic analytics reports to track reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Continuous Learning: Apply industry best practices and insights from data to consistently improve engagement rates and brand awareness.
Collaboration: Partner with the broader marketing team to ensure all messaging is cohesive and aligns with overarching business goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Core Skills
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Writing Excellence: Exceptional writing and editing skills with rigorous attention to grammar, style, and tone.
Creative Mindset: Ability to brainstorm and generate fresh ideas that cut through digital noise.
Technical Competencies
Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform-specific best practices.
Tools: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later).
Basic Design: Proficiency in using tools like Canva or basic photo editing software to create brand-aligned visuals.
