Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Electrical Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of electrical systems in our construction projects. You will be the technical authority for everything from initial design layouts and load calculations to on-site installation supervision and final commissioning. This role requires a professional who can ensure that all electrical installations—whether for residential, commercial, or industrial projects—meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Electrical Design & Planning: Architect comprehensive electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and backup power solutions. You will produce detailed layouts, schematics, and load calculations that integrate seamlessly with architectural and structural plans.

• Project Supervision: Act as the on-site technical lead. Supervise electrical installation works, monitor subcontractors for quality control, and ensure that construction activities remain strictly aligned with project schedules and budgets.

• Safety & Quality Assurance: Serve as a guardian of safety on-site. Conduct rigorous quality inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure all installations meet statutory requirements and client-specific needs.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate design records and project reports. Review contractor submissions and technical proposals while supporting the commissioning and final handover phases of the project.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Professional Certification: Must be COREN registered.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and project supervision.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Design Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and industry-standard electrical design software.

  • Standards & Codes: In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, international standards, and local construction practices.

  • Systems Expertise: Solid experience with power systems, lighting design, and comprehensive building services engineering.
