Job Description:
We are looking for a hybrid professional a technical expert with a commercial edge to drive the sales and marketing of our batching plant operations. As a Civil Engineer (Sales/Marketing Executive), you will leverage your engineering background to speak the language of contractors and project managers, positioning our products as the technical solution of choice in the competitive Abuja construction market.
Requirements:
Strategic Sales: Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies specifically tailored for batching plant products and services.
Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the infrastructure and construction sectors.
Technical Relationship Management: Build and nurture deep relationships with key industry stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and developers, by providing technical value and support.
Persuasive Pitching: Prepare and deliver expert-level presentations and proposals that demonstrate how our products solve specific engineering and site challenges.
Market Intelligence: Keep a close pulse on market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging infrastructure projects in the Abuja region.
Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales progress against targets, providing management with actionable insights to drive business growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, specifically within the construction or building materials industry.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of concrete technology, batching operations, and construction processes.
Ability to understand blueprints, project specifications, and structural requirements to identify client needs.
Core Competencies:
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; you must be comfortable speaking to both procurement officers and project engineers.
Autonomy: A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage your own pipeline and hit aggressive targets without constant supervision.
Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and proposal development.
