Job Description:
We are seeking an expert Project Risk Engineer to serve as a critical technical authority for the HA & HB-Buko mega-projects. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the "First Gas Date" by implementing robust, integrated risk management frameworks. You will be responsible for identifying, quantifying, and mitigating threats—and maximizing opportunities—across the Define and Execute phases of these high-value oil and gas assets. This is a high-stakes, senior-level individual contributor role requiring deep technical proficiency and the ability to influence multidisciplinary project teams.
Requirements:
Strategic Risk Framework: Develop and standardize the Project Risk Management Plan. Define risk thresholds, escalation protocols, and governance structures to ensure consistency across all contractors and functions.

Quantitative & Qualitative Analysis:
Perform qualitative assessments using probability/impact matrices.
Conduct quantitative risk analysis using Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) to model cost and schedule exposure.
Provide probabilistic outputs (P10, P50, P90) to advise leadership on contingency estimation.
Integrated Scheduling: Interface directly with Primavera P6 systems to link risk models with schedule logic, ensuring data integrity and validating assumptions with discipline leads.
Advanced Risk Modeling: Develop bow-tie analyses for critical risks, mapping threats, consequences, and barrier effectiveness to ensure linkage with HSE and operational controls.
Facilitation & Reporting: Plan and lead multidisciplinary risk workshops. Produce high-level executive dashboards that highlight emerging trends, top risks, and early warning signals for senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management: Engage internal and external stakeholders—including JV partners, regulatory authorities, and government agencies—to align on risk management strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Engineering Degree in a related field.
Experience: * Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in the oil & gas industry.
Minimum 5 years specifically in project roles with direct responsibility for post-DG3 (Define Gate 3) Risk Management.
Technical Mastery:
Risk Software: Advanced expertise in Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA).
Methodology: Proven capability in bow-tie development and qualitative/quantitative risk assessment.
