Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to provide critical technical assurance and engineering expertise for the HA & HB-Buko gas projects. As a key technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in process modeling, you will safeguard the integrity, efficiency, and safety of our facilities throughout the entire project lifecycle from conceptualization and FEED to commissioning. This is a vital role for an engineer who thrives in high-stakes environments, excels at process optimization, and is committed to mentoring the next generation of talent.

Requirements:

• Technical Authority & SME: Serve as the SME for process modeling. Deliver high-quality, well-documented engineering deliverables that ensure the HA & HB-Buko designs meet rigorous technical and operational standards.

• Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Provide process inputs across Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.

• Process Safety & Integrity: Support the project in meeting AIPSM (Asset Integrity Process Safety Management) requirements. Participate actively in multi-discipline reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, E-3D model reviews, SIL classification, and constructability assessments.

• Process Optimization: Identify and implement global best practices with a focus on standardization and repeatability. Work closely with equipment vendors to optimize design and achieve cost savings without compromising integrity.

• Verification & Testing: Verify design works by contractors to ensure reliability and maintainability. Conduct shop and field acceptance testing during fabrication and installation.

• Integrated Collaboration: Interface across subsurface and surface disciplines, utilizing integrated tools to ensure cohesive project execution. Support the development of comprehensive commissioning and start-up plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).

• Professional Membership: Current membership with NSE and COREN is mandatory.

• Experience: 8–10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Simulation Expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as UNISIM, IPSM-GAP, and PIPESIM.

  • Integrated Modeling: Experience working with Sub-surface disciplines and Integrated Production System Modelling tools.

  • Standardization: Deep knowledge of International engineering standards, HSSE frameworks, and best practices.
