Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Digital Marketing Officer to be the digital voice of our Foundation. In the non-profit sector, digital platforms are not just for social media; they are the primary tools for storytelling, donor engagement, and impact reporting.
Your mission is to build a vibrant online community, manage our foundation's brand across all platforms, and ensure our programs receive the visibility they need to attract partners and supporters. Requirements:
1. Content Strategy & Social Storytelling
Creative Content Production: Design and produce engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, and copy) that highlights the foundation's on-ground impact.
Community Management: Oversee all social media accounts, fostering two-way conversations with our followers, volunteers, and beneficiaries.
Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital communication remains aligned with the foundation’s mission, values, and professional tone.
2. Digital Campaigns & Fundraising Visibility
Campaign Execution: Launch and manage digital awareness campaigns to promote foundation programs and special initiatives.
Fundraising Support: Enhance the visibility of our fundraising efforts through targeted email marketing, social media ad campaigns, and donor spotlights.
Website Management: Keep the foundation’s website fresh and updated with the latest news, program results, and "Call to Action" links.
3. Analytics & Impact Reporting
Performance Tracking: Use Google Analytics and social media insights to monitor the reach and engagement of our digital activities.
Data-Driven Optimization: Identify trends and adjust communication strategies based on what resonates most with our audience.
Impact Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for management that demonstrate how digital growth is contributing to the foundation’s overall visibility goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience managing professional social media accounts and digital campaigns (Non-profit or NGO experience is a plus).
Technical Stack: Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), social media management tools, and basic CMS (e.g., WordPress).
Core Competencies
Creative Writing: Ability to write emotionally resonant stories and clear, persuasive copy.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable marketing plans.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with program officers on the field for content collection.
