Job Description:

Are you a healthcare professional who loves the art of conversation and the fast-paced world of social media? Ruth and Roots is looking for a Customer Service Executive who is genuinely excited to act as a bridge between our wellness solutions and our clients.

In this role, you aren't just answering phones; you are a wellness advocate and a brand ambassador. You will use your medical or healthcare background to guide clients through our product offerings, ensuring they receive recommendations that actually improve their lives. If you are patient, empathetic, and social media savvy, with a knack for upselling and a passion for helping people, we want you to lead our client interactions in Abuja.

Requirements:

1. Consultative Guidance & Sales

  • Healthcare Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact (virtually and physically), using your medical knowledge to recommend the best products for specific client needs.

  • Revenue Growth: Master the art of upselling and cross-selling, identifying opportunities to add value to a client’s wellness journey through additional services.

  • Effective Promotion: Engage customers with a friendly, high-energy attitude that turns casual inquiries into loyal, long-term brand advocates.

2. Conflict Resolution & Service Recovery

  • Problem Solving: Resolve complex complaints and inquiries with speed and accuracy, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.

  • Escalation Management: Recognize when a concern requires senior intervention and follow internal protocols to ensure a smooth resolution.

  • Proactive Follow-up: Reach out to clients via phone, email, or social media post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and gather valuable feedback.

3. Operational Integrity & CRM Management

  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, confirming payments, and placing orders within our CRM and Microsoft Office systems.

  • Team Synergy: Collaborate across departments to find innovative solutions to recurring client problems and improve internal communication.

  • Policy Adherence: Follow all company communication procedures and guidelines to ensure a consistent, high-quality brand voice.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Background: Candidates with a medical or healthcare background (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related) are highly preferred.

  • Education: Degree in any relevant area.

  • Experience: 1–3 years in customer service, sales, or client relations.

  • Location: Candidates must reside in Abuja.

Core Competencies

  • Social Media Savvy: Ability to manage customer inquiries and engagement across various digital platforms with ease.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to "put yourself in the customer's shoes."

  • Detail-Oriented: Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities in a busy retail/wellness environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office and experienced with CRM systems.
