Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Service Engineer specialized in advanced medical imaging solutions. This role is critical in ensuring that hospitals and diagnostic centers have 100% reliability in their life-saving equipment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of radiology assets—from installation and routine preventive maintenance to complex troubleshooting of high-end systems like CT and MRI scanners. Beyond technical mastery, you will act as a brand ambassador, driving business growth by securing service contracts and expanding our client base.

Requirements:

1. Technical Maintenance & System Reliability

  • Lifecycle Management: Perform rigorous preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on a wide range of biomedical equipment.

  • Diagnostics & Repair: Rapidly diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software faults in imaging systems to restore them to peak working condition.

  • Uptime Optimization: Ensure minimum downtime for equipment at customer sites through proactive monitoring and rapid emergency response.

2. Specialized Imaging Oversight

  • Radiology Focus: Provide expert-level service for high-modality equipment including CT Scanners, MRI, X-ray, C-Arms, Cath Labs, and Ultrasound units.

  • Installation Excellence: Lead the professional installation and commissioning of new hospital solutions, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

3. Business Development & Client Relations

  • Service Contracts: Proactively secure annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and comprehensive maintenance contracts (CMC) for our existing installation base.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and onboard new clients, presenting the value of our technical support services to hospital administrators and procurement leads.

  • Reporting: Maintain detailed service logs, field reports, and compliance documentation for every site visit.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience

  • Service Tenure: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the biomedical service field.

  • Clinical Modality Expertise: Demonstrable experience with radiology equipment (CT, MRI, X-ray, C-Arm, Cath Lab, Ultrasound).

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software-based troubleshooting in a clinical environment.

Core Competencies

  • Problem Solving: Ability to think critically under pressure to resolve complex equipment failures in high-stakes hospital settings.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing client expectations and delivering clear technical reports to management.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to customer sites as required to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).

Salary

₦500,000 - ₦750,000/month
