Job Description:

We are seeking a highly technical and commercially aware Electrical Engineer specialized in Electrical Panel Building. This role is a strategic blend of pre-sales engineering and technical execution. You will be responsible for deconstructing complex RFQs, designing high-specification LV/MV panels, and preparing winning commercial tenders. From drafting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) to overseeing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), you will serve as the technical authority ensuring our power distribution solutions meet international standards (IEC/ISO) and exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

1. Tendering & Pre-Sales Strategy

• Tender Analysis: Perform deep-dive reviews of client RFQs and technical specifications to identify project scope and constraints.

• Commercial Modeling: Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and cost estimates to produce competitive technical and commercial offers.

• Negotiation: Support technical clarifications and commercial negotiations with clients to secure project awards.

2. Engineering Design & Documentation

• Technical Schematics: Design and develop comprehensive Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and internal wiring schematics for LV/MV and control panels.

• Material Precision: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material specifications for procurement.

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs adhere to IEC, ISO, and specific customer standards, maintaining rigorous quality control.

3. Project Lifecycle Support

• Manufacturing Oversight: Provide technical guidance to the production team during the assembly and wiring of panels.

• Quality Assurance: Lead technical support during panel manufacturing and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to verify system performance.

• Final Delivery: Assist in the preparation of "As-Built" documentation and comprehensive technical submittals for final project handover.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience & Education

• Academics: B.Sc. or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Field Tenure: Proven experience in electrical panel design, manufacturing, and tender handling is mandatory.

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) panels, motor control centers (MCC), and power distribution systems.

Technical Skills

• Design Tools: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized electrical design software.

• Blueprints: Mastery in reading and interpreting complex electrical blueprints, interconnection diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and technical submittal workflows.
