Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Accountant to anchor the financial engine of our operations. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian commerce, where institutional stability is dictated by the strength of tax compliance and internal controls success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex numerical data with the clinical precision required for Statutory Returns, Audit Readiness, and Management Advisory. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with at least 2 years of experience and mandatory ICAN certification who can blend "Numerical Grit" (managing daily ledgers and reconciliations) with the "Strategic Agility" required to monitor budgets and implement audit recommendations.
Requirements:
1. Ledger Orchestration & Reporting Governance
Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Transactional Truth."
Report Architecture: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing the "Structural Foundation" for transparent organizational health.
Integrity Stewardship: Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the "Source of Liquidity Accuracy" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Statutory Logic
Compliance Sovereignty: Ensure 100% adherence to tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT), acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Safety."
Payroll Architecture: Process payroll including all statutory deductions and file returns on time, providing the "Functional Foundation" for employee and government relations.
Cost Stewardship: Monitor budgets and control costs in real-time, maintaining the "Source of Financial Discipline."
3. Operational Integrity & Audit Power
Audit Sovereignty: Conduct audit preparations and liaise with auditors, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Readiness."
Control Architecture: Implement and maintain strong internal controls and audit recommendations, providing the "Relational Foundation" for minimized financial risk.
Velocity Logic: Utilize ICAN expertise and Accounting Software (Excel/SAGE/Odoo) to provide high-level financial advice to management, maximizing the "Source of Strategic Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BSc/HND in Accounting.
Mandatory Certification: Must be ICAN certified (Chartered Accountant).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting and audit experience.
Domain Power: Expert knowledge of Nigerian Tax Laws, IFRS, and accounting principles.
Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and professional accounting software.
