Job Description:

You will play a pivotal role in full-cycle SAP implementations, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical SAP configuration. The ideal candidate possesses deep functional knowledge of IS-Oil core processes, specifically within the Nigerian downstream landscape.

Requirements:

Implementation & Configuration

• Execute end-to-end SAP IS-Oil implementation phases, including blueprinting, realization, testing, cutover, and hypercare support.

• Configure critical downstream modules, including inventory management, stock transfers, and production scheduling.

• Conduct gap analysis to align internal processes with SAP industry best practices.

• Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.

Functional Support & Oil Accounting

• Manage core Oil Accounting functions: inventory valuation, revenue recognition, and settlement postings.

• Maintain seamless integration between Petroleum Production processes and SAP core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and IS-Oil sub-modules (HPM, TSW).

• Implement product costing techniques relevant to refining operations and profitability reporting.

• Resolve daily configuration and functional issues to ensure system stability.

Integration & Collaboration

• Facilitate integration between SAP IS-Oil and external refinery systems (e.g., Tank Gauging, LIMS).

• Lead data mapping and interface configuration for inventory systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

• Document system configurations and create user-friendly training manuals.

• Partner with senior consultants and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• Certification: SAP IS-Oil certification is highly preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP implementation experience with a specific focus on IS-Oil Downstream.

  • Proven track record of at least one full-cycle SAP IS-Oil implementation within the refining or petrochemical sector.

  • Demonstrated experience in hypercare and post-go-live operational support.

• Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector and its unique accounting/logistical fundamentals.
