Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and persuasive Front Desk / Store Officer to serve as the face of our school and the primary engine of our admissions department. In this dual-capacity role, you are responsible for the entire "Parent Journey"—from the first phone inquiry to the final entrance examination.

You will be the architect of first impressions, ensuring that every visitor experiences elite customer service while maintaining strict security protocols to protect our learning environment. If you have 3 years of experience in administration or marketing and a passion for educational growth, we want you to join our Lagos team.

Requirements:

1. Admissions & Recruitment Strategy

  • Inquiry Management: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents, providing expert advice on admission requirements and school value propositions.

  • Lead Conversion: Devise and execute rigorous follow-up procedures via phone, email, and direct meetings to maximize enrolment figures.

  • Events & Outreach: Represent the school at recruitment exhibitions, off-campus events, and feeder school visits to build a robust student pipeline.

  • School Tours: Lead prospective families on comprehensive tours of our various locations, showcasing our facilities and academic culture.

2. Operational Administration & Logistics

  • Data Integrity: Capture and log all enquiry details and form sales into the School Management System (SMS) with 100% accuracy.

  • Reporting: Produce weekly admission statistics and trend reports to help management make data-driven decisions.

  • Examination Coordination: Organize and supervise entrance examinations, ensuring a smooth and professional testing environment for all candidates.

  • Information Flow: Manage all incoming communications, including mail, parcels, and digital inquiries, ensuring they reach the appropriate departments promptly.

3. Security & Front-Office Governance

  • Access Control: Act as a critical "second barrier," filtering unwanted entries and ensuring only authorized visitors gain access to the school premises.

  • Environmental Standards: Maintain a presentable, tidy, and well-stocked front desk that reflects the school’s high professional standards.

  • Situational Awareness: Remain constantly alert to security issues, ensuring that staff are informed of visitors while maintaining a safe environment for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: B.Sc. or HND Degree in any discipline.

  • Certification: Professional Certification in Marketing is highly preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in school administration, front-office management, or customer service.

Core Competencies

  • Communication Excellence: Superior verbal and written skills for persuasive parent engagement and professional report writing.

  • Tech Savvy: High proficiency in computer applications and school management software.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask between administrative filing, phone calls, and physical school tours without losing focus.
