Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account and Administrative Officer to anchor our Abuja office operations. In this dual-capacity role, you will be the engine of our financial accuracy and the backbone of our administrative efficiency. Your mission is to maintain a "zero-error" financial environment while ensuring that office logistics, procurement, and HR support run seamlessly.

As the Account and Administrative Officer, you will manage everything from bank reconciliations and donor-compliant procurement to travel logistics and HR record-keeping. If you are an Accounting or Business graduate with a mastery of Excel and professional accounting software, we invite you to help us drive operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • General Ledger & Cash Flow: Maintain meticulous financial records, process invoices, and manage petty cash with high integrity.

  • Reconciliation & Compliance: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and support the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets.

  • Technical Reporting: Generate comprehensive expenditure reports, income statements, and stakeholder-ready financial documentation.

2. Procurement & Logistics Coordination

  • Strategic Sourcing: Support the procurement lifecycle by obtaining competitive quotes, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring all activities align with organizational and donor regulations.

  • Office Operations: Manage internal and external correspondence, oversee office logistics, and maintain a robust physical and electronic filing system.

  • Event Management: Coordinate travel arrangements, schedule high-level meetings, and manage the logistics for corporate events.

3. HR Support & Administrative Governance

  • Human Capital Support: Assist in the onboarding of new hires, maintain accurate leave records, and coordinate staff training schedules.

  • Data Integrity: Ensure that all administrative and financial issues are identified and resolved effectively while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in a combined administrative and accounting role.

  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage, alongside advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel.
