Job Description:

• Report to the Drilling & Completions (D&C) Supervisor and serve as the rig-site authority for the safe and efficient execution of the approved drilling program.
• Execute the well plan as per program, conducting pre-job briefings, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and permit-to-work verification.
• Supervise rig crews and third-party service providers, including directional drilling, mud engineering, cementing, wireline, and fishing operations.
• Verify critical well control and safety tests, including BOP, annular, and accumulator tests, as well as pit-gain monitoring and kick detection/response.
• Approve step-changes, deviations, and contingency plans while maintaining an up-to-date well barrier schematic and red-line drawings.
• Monitor real-time cost and time performance against the look-ahead plan; prepare daily operational reports (DOR), morning report inputs, and verify daily drilling reports (DDR).
• Enforce DROPS prevention, lifting plans, confined-space entry controls, and SIMOPS coordination with marine and production teams.

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of supervisory drilling experience.
• Valid IWCF Level 4 certification.
• Current BOSIET/HUET certification.
• Valid H₂S training certification.
• Strong knowledge of swamp logistics and barge operations.
