Job Description:
This role is critical in maintaining compliance, enhancing efficiency, and safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage credit accounts and accounts payable/receivable, including issuing customer invoices and processing supplier bills.
- Handle guest billing, payment processing, and account settlements efficiently.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while managing sensitive financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support budget preparation and assist in financial planning activities.
- Liaise with government agencies and external bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and timely filing of reports.
- Assist in both internal and external audit processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and suppliers to resolve financial matters.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with educational regulations and compliance requirements is an added advantage.
