Fresh County Limited is a health food store that produce healthy meals, fresh juice and smoothies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts and payments
• Record daily sales from POS systems and reconcile them with bank deposits
• Manage the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions.

Bank and Cash Reconciliation:

• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Monitor cash handling procedures across retail outlets
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in cash or bank balances

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Generate management reports on sales, expenses and profitability
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

Compliance and Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, TAX etc.)
• Support external audits by providing required documentation.

Auditing & Internal Control:

• Conduct periodic internal audits
• Review financial records
• Identify irregularities, and control weaknesses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, or Finance.
• 7-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or manufacturing
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to details.
