Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Zonal Coordinator to oversee and drive operational excellence across assigned regions. Strict Requirement: This position is exclusively for candidates who have held senior operational leadership roles within one of Nigeria’s leading interstate passenger transport companies.

Requirements:

• Operations Coordination: Manage interstate transport operations across assigned zones and terminals.

• Performance Monitoring: Oversee fleet utilization, route efficiency, passenger service delivery, and operational compliance.

• Revenue & Growth: Drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and cost control initiatives.

• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, revenue leakages, and service gaps.

• Team Leadership: Supervise terminal managers, operations teams, and field personnel to ensure KPI achievement.

• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with regulators, unions, security agencies, and local stakeholders.

• Safety & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to company safety standards and operational policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree.

• Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive experience in passenger transport operations.

• Essential Background: Previous experience as a Zonal Manager, Regional Operations Manager, or Operations Supervisor within a reputable interstate passenger transport company is mandatory.

• Required Competencies:

  • Proven ability to manage multi-location transport operations effectively.

  • Strong understanding of Nigerian transport regulations and operational realities.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage large operational teams.

• Availability: Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions.
