Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented WordPress UI/UX Designer to refine, polish, and finalize professionally built websites for small and growing businesses. This is not a "build-from-scratch" role; instead, you are the finishing architect who takes a prepared site and elevates it to a business-ready standard through superior layout, typography, and spacing.

Working exclusively within the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) using the Astra/Spectra ecosystem, you will ensure every pixel serves a purpose. If you have a sharp eye for visual hierarchy and the discipline to deliver clean, fast-loading, and mobile-responsive sites without over-engineering, this role is for you.

Requirements:

1. UI/UX Refinement & Visual Hierarchy

• Layout Optimization: Audit existing pages to improve spacing (padding/margins), alignment, and the logical flow of information.

• Typography & Clarity: Refine font scales, line heights, and button placements to ensure maximum readability and a clear path to conversion (CTAs).

• Consistency: Ensure brand colors and styles are applied uniformly across all sub-pages and sections.

2. Technical Execution (Gutenberg + Spectra)

• Block-Based Development: Build and adjust pages using only Gutenberg blocks and Spectra components, ensuring a lightweight and maintainable backend.

• Mobile-First Responsiveness: Rigorously test and adjust layouts for tablet and mobile views to ensure a seamless experience on all devices.

• Asset Optimization: Ensure images and media are correctly sized and placed for optimal page speed and visual clarity.

3. Delivery & Client Stewardship

• Feedback Implementation: Apply client revisions accurately and efficiently, moving the project toward final approval.

• Effective Communication: Briefly consult with clients via WhatsApp or short calls to clarify requirements or explain design choices.

• Brief Adherence: Work systematically through checklists and scopes to ensure no detail is missed before delivery.
