Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Videographer to join our team in Lagos. In the shipping and logistics industry, our "product" is movement, scale, and reliability. Your mission is to capture that energy through high-quality video content that supports our marketing efforts and internal projects.

This is an on-site, hands-on role for a filmmaker who is comfortable working in diverse environments—from corporate offices to busy shipping terminals. You will take ownership of the entire production lifecycle, ensuring that every frame we produce is professional, impactful, and perfectly lit.

Requirements:

1. End-to-End Video Production

• Technical Operation: Master the operation of various camera types, ensuring crisp visuals and professional frame rates.

• Lighting Architecture: Design and execute lighting setups that maintain high-quality visuals, whether shooting in a studio or on-location at a logistics hub.

• Sound Management: Ensure high-fidelity audio capture to complement visual storytelling.

2. Creative Execution & Collaboration

• Visual Storytelling: Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and storyboard content that highlights our shipping expertise and community impact.

• On-Site Shooting: Lead the capture of "B-roll," interviews, and project documentaries, maintaining professional standards under varying environmental conditions.

• Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

3. Workflow & Asset Management

• Time Management: Manage multiple production timelines simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule.

• Asset Governance: Organize and archive raw footage and final exports to ensure easy retrieval for future campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical & Professional Profile

• Education: Degree or certification in Media Production, Film Studies, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in video shooting and editing. Prior experience in the Logistics or Shipping industry is a significant advantage.

• Toolbox: Proficiency in professional editing suites and a deep understanding of camera optics and lighting physics.
