Job Description:
We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Digital Trade Officer to join our fast-paced financial team. In this role, you will be the primary engine behind our digital transaction lifecycle, ensuring that every trade, payment, and account query is handled with speed and clinical accuracy.
This is a high-visibility role where you will manage multi-platform digital trading activities, assist in customer onboarding, and act as a bridge between our clients and our internal technical teams. If you are a fluent communicator with a strong grasp of digital finance and a passion for providing "concierge-level" support, we want you to help us drive our digital trade operations.
Requirements:
1. Digital Transaction Management
Trade Execution: Manage and monitor real-time digital trading transactions, ensuring that every order is processed and verified against internal records.
Accuracy & Integrity: Maintain meticulous documentation of all digital trade activities to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
Onboarding: Lead the digital onboarding process, guiding new customers through platform navigation and service activation.
2. Customer Experience & Support
Inquiry Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving account issues or transaction bottlenecks with professional poise.
Technical Liaison: Collaborate with internal IT and Finance teams to troubleshoot transaction errors and escalate persistent technical issues.
Service Excellence: Ensure high client satisfaction by providing clear, prompt, and accurate responses to all digital trade requests.
3. Compliance & Performance Reporting
Policy Adherence: Promote and adhere to strict financial and compliance policies to mitigate risk and ensure the security of digital assets.
Operational Analytics: Prepare periodic reports on transaction volumes, success rates, and operational updates for management review.
Data Security: Ensure all customer data and transaction details are handled with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of OND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal) is non-negotiable.
Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy and comfort navigating multiple digital/financial platforms.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and accurate under high-pressure deadlines.
Core Competencies
Attention to Detail: An "eagle eye" for transaction discrepancies and record-keeping errors.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify basic digital faults and propose immediate solutions.
Digital Acumen: A basic understanding of digital financial transactions (fintech, e-wallets, or online trading) is a significant advantage.
