Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Coordinator/Internal Auditor to provide dual-function leadership for our financial health and internal governance. You will manage our day-to-day accounting operations while simultaneously serving as an independent auditor to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity. This is a senior-level position requiring a balance of technical financial expertise, audit rigor, and administrative oversight.

Requirements:

  • Finance Management: Lead end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, payroll management, and accounts payable/receivable. You will develop and enforce robust financial policies to ensure organizational sustainability.

  • Internal Audit: Conduct systematic audits of balance sheets and income statements. Proactively identify financial irregularities, report areas of concern, and recommend actionable corrective measures to senior management.

  • Systems Administration: Manage LETSAI’s accounting systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the integrity of our Management Information Systems (MIS).

  • Administration: Oversee the maintenance of administrative documentation and filing systems. Monitor organizational compliance with administrative procedures and prepare internal reports for the Executive Director.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices align with local regulations and specific donor/contractual requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: * B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Min. 2–4 years relevant experience).

    • OR M.Sc / MA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Min. 1–2 years relevant experience).

  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 3–6 years in a supervisory role with a strong track record in financial management and reporting.

  • Professional Certification: Must hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA, CNA, ACCA, CPA, or ANAN).

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Strong command of automated accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage 50, ERPs).

    • Expert-level knowledge of general ledger management, donor grant requirements, and fiscal control theories.
