Job Description:
We are seeking a high-octane Unit Manager to lead and scale a high-performing team of Financial Advisors. In the financial services industry, your success is measured by the strength and productivity of your unit. Your mission is to serve as both a Recruiter and a Sales Strategist, transforming new recruits into top-tier insurance professionals.
The ideal candidate is a leadership-driven closer who knows how to move a needle. You will be responsible for the entire agent lifecycle—from headhunting and technical training to daily performance tracking and "closing the gap" on major deals. If you have a proven track record in sales management and the grit to exceed aggressive quarterly targets, we want you to lead our next expansion phase.
Requirements:
1. Talent Acquisition & Development
Recruitment Engine: Proactively source, interview, and onboard a robust pipeline of aspiring Financial Advisors.
Competency Building: Lead intensive training sessions on product knowledge, risk assessment, and advanced sales psychology.
Mentorship: Provide "on-the-field" coaching to help agents navigate complex client objections and professionalize their approach.
2. Performance & Strategy Management
Target Architecture: Set clear, ambitious sales targets and implement the tracking systems necessary to monitor daily progress.
Strategic Oversight: Conduct high-impact weekly strategy meetings and performance reviews to identify bottlenecks and pivot tactics.
Deal Support: Step in as a senior closer to support agents in securing high-net-worth (HNW) accounts and complex corporate packages.
3. Compliance & Relationship Stewardship
Regulatory Governance: Ensure all unit activities strictly adhere to company policies and industry regulations (NAICOM standards).
Client Retention: Guide the team in building long-term, trust-based relationships that ensure high policy renewal rates.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in sales management, specifically within the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services sector.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and inspire a diverse team to hit collective revenue goals.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
