We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented  Payable Officer to support the processing and administration of disbursements for life and group life insurance transactions.
• The role ensures timely and accurate settlement of claims, benefits, and other financial obligations while maintaining compliance with internal controls and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Authorize transactions on internal financial systems such as FMS/TQ.

• Prepare payment instructions and documentation for claims, benefits, and other disbursements.

• Reconcile bank statements with internal payment logs and Excel trackers.

• Monitor daily payment failures and implement prompt follow-up actions.

• Maintain accurate filing and records in line with audit requirements.

• Utilize Excel for reconciliation, tracking, and preparation of callover sheets.

• Collaborate with finance and insurance teams to ensure smooth disbursement operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounts payable, or disbursement operations, preferably in insurance or financial services.

• Familiarity with insurance processes such as claims, benefits, and maturity payments is an advantage.

• Experience with financial systems like TQ, FMS, or other ERP platforms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
